Kobi Ruthenberg

Kobi is a Partner and the Director of ORG's New York office.
As an Architect and Urbanist, he leads strategy, design, and research initiatives at the intersection of infrastructure, urban design, and regional planning, working with public, private and institutional partners in diverse global contexts. He engages in complex political, environmental and social realities through spatial thinking, and values ORG’s collaborative, interdisciplinary work that connects research and design.
Kobi recently led the national Malawi Secondary Cities Plan and contributed to RAND’s Spatial Vision for Palestine project and related initiatives. Earlier, he led the award-winning New Meadowlands project at MIT’s Center for Advanced Urbanism as part of the Rebuild by Design competition.
